IFA recognised at international Film Festivals
IFA is proud to announce that our PTS and IFA co-production, The Black Face Spoonbills, has won the Biodiversity Prize at The 18th Tokyo Global Environmental Film Festival.
The film has also picked up a number of commendations at the 33rd International Wildlife Film Festival in Montana, US. The documentary picked up Finalist for award, Honourable Mention for Scientific Information, Honourable Mention for Message and Honourable Mention for Conservation Efforts.
Coming off the back of our successful partnership, future collaborations between IFA and PTS include a 1x 60 HD documentary, Taiwan’s Last Tribe. The film follows a group of villagers from the Ayatal tribe, one of the most remote tribes in Taiwan, over the course of a year to document their incredible lifestyles, myths and legends.
IFA’s co-production slate also includes a collaboration with National Geographic Television on seven episodes of the top rating series Monster Fish. To be filmed in high definition (HD) across seven countries, the series follows fish biologist, conservationist and National Geographic Explorer Zeb Hogan on his five-year mission to find and study the world’s biggest freshwater fish.
